The Ulefone Armor 29 series has a useful, versatile LED light on the back and a Warning Lights functionality. Needless to say, both of these can be rather useful tools to have. Both of those features come on all three phones in the series, the Armor 29 Pro, Armor 29 Pro Thermal, and Armor 29 Ultra.

The Ulefone Armor 29 series has useful LED light and Warning Light functionalities

Ulefone demoed both of these features in a video that was published recently. That video is embedded below, for your convenience. Now, let’s talk a bit about these two features, shall we? Starting with the LED light functionality.

That LED light on the back is very bright. It can be a reliable source of illumination outdoors, as it offers 1,000 lumens of brightness. That is more than enough to easily light up a campsite. You can leave your flashlight at home, basically.

The Warning Light functionality, which is combined with the simulated first-responder sound. These can be used to signal for help or alert others to your presence. It’s not something you’ll use much, hopefully, but it can be immensely useful in an emergency.

The Ulefone Armor 29 Ultra is the most powerful of the bunch

Now, while all three of these phones have these two functionalities, there are differences between them. The Ulefone Armor 29 Ultra is fueled by the Dimensity 9300+ chip, it’s the most powerful phone in the series.

The Armor 29 Pro Thermal is characterized by a very capable thermal imaging setup. It can provide 640 x 512 thermal imaging with FusionAI and SharpenAI imaging algorithms. The regular Armor 29 Pro is a very competent smartphone, identical to the ‘Thermal’ model, but without thermal imaging.

All three smartphones are IP68/IP69K and MIL-STD-810H certified for ruggedness. All three phones are equipped with a 21,200mAh battery. They also have two AMOLED displays.
